The Journey of Our Mobile Ice Cream Truck: From Concept to Reality
In spring 2023, we launched our ice cream truck after spending the winter building it out. This isn't just any truck; it's a labor of love that's ready to make all your ice cream dreams come true. From humble beginnings as an empty sprinter work van to a fully equipped mobile ice cream parlor, join us as we take you on the journey of our beloved truck and share how you can book it for your next private catering event.
Our ice cream truck journey began with an empty canvas – a Sprinter work van waiting to be transformed. We set to work, turning dreams into reality one screw and bolt at a time.
First came the essentials – the radio and backup camera to keep us safe on the road. Then, it was time to get down to business. We installed wood paneling and FRP (fiberglass reinforced panels) to create the interior.
Next, we called in the experts. A skilled builder worked their magic, installing the plumbing and electric to keep our ice cream chilled. They crafted tables and shelving for storage and prep, ensuring that every inch of space was utilized efficiently. And let's not forget the pièce de résistance – cutting out the concession window to serve up scoops of deliciousness to our eager guests.
With the interior complete, it was time for the finishing touch – our graphic wrap and beautiful neon sign. Adorned with our logo and vibrant colors, our ice cream truck is impossible to miss as it rolls through the streets.
Now that our ice cream truck was ready to hit the road, it was time to start booking events! In 2023 we catered everything from intimate birthday parties for 30 people to weddings to high school dances for 1,000+. We’re now quickly booking dates for 2024.
